Ingredients
10 oz Smoky-Flavored Poblano Pork Sausage
10 oz Cooked Brown Rice
6 oz Green Beans
4 oz Shredded Cabbage & Carrots
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
3 tbsp East Asian-Style Sautéed Aromatics
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
2 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 tbsp Sambal Oelek
3 tbsp Roasted Peanuts
How to make it
1
Rinse and dry all produce. Snap off the stem ends of the green beans and cut into 1/2-inch pieces. In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise and as much sambal oelek as you like.
2
Heat the sauteed aromatics in a large nonstick pan over medium-high. Add the sausage and break it apart. Cook undisturbed 3-4 minutes until lightly browned. Add the green beans, cabbage and carrots, soy sauce (it may spatter), and sesame oil; season with salt and pepper. Cook stirring occasionally 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are softened and the sausage is cooked through. Remove from heat.
3
Cut a 1-inch vent in the rice package. Microwave on high 1-2 minutes until heated through. Transfer to a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with olive oil if desired; stir to combine. Serve topped with the cooked pork and vegetables. Drizzle with the sambal mayo and scatter half the peanuts on top.
