Ingredients
2.7 oz Pepperoni
16 oz Pizza Dough
1 each 8-oz can Tomato Sauce
3 tbsp Roasted Garlic Pesto
¼ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
4 oz Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
¼ tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1 each Single-Use Aluminum Tray
How to make it
1
Take the dough out of the refrigerator. Preheat the oven to 450°F. Coat the tray evenly with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add the dough and flip to coat. Spread to the edges in an even thickness, rest 5 minutes if it springs back. Prick evenly with a fork. Bake 10 minutes. Remove from the oven (leave oven on). Carefully flip and lightly press down.
2
In a medium pot, combine the tomato sauce, garlic pesto, and as much red pepper flake as you like; season. Cook over medium-high stirring frequently 5-6 minutes until slightly reduced and thickened. Remove from heat.
3
Leaving a border around the edges, spread the sauce on the dough. Top evenly with the pepperoni and torn mozzarella; season. Bake 15-17 minutes until the cheese is melted, the pepperoni are crispy, and the crust is golden. Let stand 2 minutes.
4
Transfer to a cutting board. Top evenly with parmesan. Cut into equal-sized pieces.
