2 clove Garlic
10 oz Baby Bok Choy
1 tsp Black & White Sesame Seeds
1 oz Salted Butter
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
2 tsp Gochujang
How to make it

Rinse and drain the rice. Peel and roughly chop 2 garlic cloves. Combine the rice, garlic, a big pinch of salt, and 1 cup water in a small pot. Bring to a boil, reduce to low, cover, and cook undisturbed 13-15 minutes until absorbed. Fluff and cover to keep warm.

Rinse and dry all produce. Peel the carrots and thinly slice on an angle. Trim the bok choy root ends and roughly chop. Roughly chop the kimchi.

Heat the sesame oil and a drizzle of olive oil in a nonstick pan over medium-high. Add the carrots in an even layer. Cook undisturbed 2-3 minutes until lightly browned; season. Add the bok choy. Cook stirring occasionally 3-4 minutes until softened. Transfer to a bowl and cover with foil. Wipe out the pan.

Pat the shrimp dry (remove tails if desired); season with salt and pepper. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in the same pan over medium-high. Add the shrimp in an even layer. Cook undisturbed 2-3 minutes until slightly opaque. Add the butter, chopped kimchi, and as much gochujang as you like. Cook stirring frequently 1-2 minutes until combined and the shrimp are opaque and cooked through. Serve the garlic rice topped with the cooked vegetables and shrimp with any sauce. Top with sesame seeds.
