The catch

The only real catch is a small one, the 2 grams of sugar per can come from actual fruit juice rather than nothing, and it costs more than plain sparkling water. (source)

The honest take

Spindrift Island Punch is sparkling water made with real squeezed fruit, a tropical blend of guava puree, passion fruit, and orange, plus carbonated water and a little citric acid, and that is the entire ingredient list. One 12 ounce can is just 13 calories with 2 grams of naturally occurring sugar from the juice and zero added sugar. That puts it in a genuinely clean spot between flat seltzer and sugary soda, with actual fruit flavor and no artificial sweeteners, no seed oils, and nothing ultra processed. For a health minded shopper who wants taste without the tradeoffs, it is one of the most honest options in the drinks aisle.

What buyers say

Eric Sornoso, FounderAug 11, 2026
Spindrift is my everyday sparkling water because it is real squeezed fruit and nothing else, which is why it looks a little cloudy. A few calories from the actual fruit, no sweeteners, no mystery flavors. About as clean as a flavored fizzy drink gets.
