The catch

Every cup carries 7g of added sugar and just 3g of protein, so it pours creamy but is neither a low sugar milk nor a protein source. (source)

The honest take

Oatly Full Fat is the brand's creamiest pour, made by adding more low erucic acid rapeseed oil (canola) back into the oat base to hit a 3.7% fat content, which lands each cup at 160 calories and 9g of fat. It is genuinely dairy free and vegan, and the mouthfeel is rich enough to stand in for half and half or whole milk in coffee and cereal. The honest caveats are that a cup carries 7g of added sugar (maltose the enzymes create when they break down the oat starch) and only 3g of protein, so this is a creamy dairy swap rather than a protein or low sugar play. If you want the cleanest version of this milk, the Low Fat Oatly skips the added oil entirely.
