The catch

All 8g of sugar in a 3 cookie serving is added sugar, about 16 percent of the daily limit, and the cookies rate as ultra processed. (source)

The honest take

This is a limited fall release from Partake, a brand built entirely around being free of the top 9 allergens, and it delivers on that with a certified gluten free, vegan, and non GMO cookie. Three cookies run 140 calories with 8g of sugar, and here is the honest part, all 8g is added sugar, so this reads as a treat and not a health food. The ingredient list is clean and recognizable, leaning on buckwheat and oat flours plus sunflower oil, but it still lands as ultra processed on the NOVA scale. If your goal is a soft chewy fall cookie that is safe for allergies, it is a genuinely good pick, just not a low sugar one.
