Crunchy Almond Flour Cookies Toasted Pecan

This is a grain free almond and pecan flour cookie sweetened only with organic coconut sugar and baked in coconut oil, so the ingredient list stays short and free of seed oils, sugar alcohols, and artificial anything. A serving of 4 cookies runs 150 calories with 6g total sugar and 5g of that added, which is modest for a real cookie, but you also only get 2g protein and 1g fiber, so it satisfies a sweet craving more than it fills you up. Health minded shoppers who want a clean label treat will like it, though the 4.5g of saturated fat per serving is about 23 percent of a day's value, mostly from the coconut. Treat it as a nicer cookie, not a health food.
