The catch

The only real tradeoff is salt, 115mg of sodium per teaspoon, which adds up fast if you use it by the tablespoon. (source)

The honest take

This is about as clean as a jarred dijon gets, just six organic ingredients with water, mustard seeds, vinegar, salt, turmeric, and spices, and zero grams of sugar or added sugar per serving. There are no seed oils, no sweeteners, and no sugar alcohols, which is the whole reason a label reader would reach for it over a supermarket squeeze bottle. The one thing to watch is sodium at 115mg per teaspoon, which is 5 percent of your daily value in a very small 5g serving. For a condiment that is mostly used a teaspoon at a time, it earns its spot in the fridge.
