Primal Kitchen strips ketchup down to organic California tomatoes, white balsamic vinegar, and spices, with 0g added sugar and just 1g of naturally occurring sugar per tablespoon versus the roughly 4g in a standard squeeze. If you are eating Whole30 or keto or simply cutting added sugar, it is one of the cleanest ketchups on the shelf, with no corn syrup, no seed oils, and no artificial sweeteners. The flavor leans tangy and vinegary rather than candy sweet, so it will not taste like the ketchup most people grew up on. At roughly 6 to 8 dollars for an 11 ounce bottle it also costs about double the conventional stuff.

Primal Kitchen is the brand that got the seed oils out of my fridge. The avocado-oil dressings and mayo hold up in real cooking, and the label is the entire reason I buy them. Sharper and pricier than the classic stuff, but I never went back.
