The catch

The 10g of fiber comes largely from added tapioca fiber, which can cause bloating for sensitive stomachs, and at about 3 dollars a bar it is not cheap. (source)

The honest take

This is an organic, plant based protein bar with 14g of protein and only 5g of sugar per 240 calorie bar, sweetened mostly with monk fruit and a little organic cane sugar in the chocolate chips. The ingredient list is genuinely clean for the category, with peanuts and a brown rice plus pumpkin seed protein blend, no soy, no dairy, no sugar alcohols and no stevia. Health minded shoppers who want a low sugar bar without the cooling aftertaste of erythritol will find a lot to like here. The catch is that the 10g of fiber leans heavily on added tapioca fiber, which some stomachs tolerate poorly, and at roughly 3 dollars a bar it is a premium buy.
