The honest take

This is one of the cleaner bars on the shelf, built from just four real ingredients: dates, peanuts, Fair Trade chocolate chips, and sea salt. A mini bar runs 110 calories with 8g total sugar, but only 2g of that is added sugar since the sweetness comes mostly from whole dates. The catch is that with 3g protein and 2g fiber it behaves more like clean candy than a hold you over snack, and at 500 calories per 100g it is calorie dense for its tiny size. If you want a real food treat with no seed oils, sugar alcohols, or additives, it delivers, just do not expect it to replace a meal.
