The honest take

This is plain durum wheat semolina pasta, the bowtie cut in the familiar blue box, and it is about as simple as a pantry food gets. A 2 oz dry serving runs roughly 200 calories with about 7g of protein, 40g of carbs, and only 1g of fat, so it is a lean, low fat base that lives or dies by what you put on it. A health minded shopper reaches for it because it is affordable, versatile, and free of anything weird, but this is refined white pasta, not whole grain or legume based, so it does not bring much fiber or staying power on its own. If you want more protein and fiber per bite, a chickpea or whole wheat farfalle will do more for you.
