The honest take

This is basically an organic, better sourced take on peanut butter M&Ms, and it is honest about being candy. A 1 oz serving runs 160 calories with 14g of sugar, all of it added, plus 6g of saturated fat that comes mostly from organic palm kernel oil and cocoa butter. The organic, non GMO, gluten free credentials and the fair trade cacao are real points in its favor over conventional candy coated chocolate. A health minded shopper can enjoy it as a treat, but at 2g of protein and 0g of fiber it does nothing for you nutritionally beyond tasting good.
