The honest take

This is KIND Healthy Grains almond butter granola built on five whole grains plus almond butter, and it does deliver a real 10 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber in the printed 2/3 cup serving. The catch is that same serving carries 250 calories and 11 grams of added sugar, which is 22 percent of a day, and the sweetness comes from a stack of added sugars including tapioca syrup as the second ingredient, cane sugar, honey, and molasses. Some of that protein is propped up by soy protein isolate rather than the grains and nuts alone, and there is a bit of canola oil in the mix. It is a fine crunchy topping in a small portion, but it is closer to a lightly sweetened granola than a clean high protein snack.
