The honest take

This is a plant based bar built around 20g of soy protein, and on that count it delivers a full 40 percent of your daily protein in one 68g bar. The catch is that it eats more like a candy bar than a clean recovery snack: 6g of saturated fat (30 percent of a day, mostly from palm kernel oil) and 17g of sugar from cane syrup, cane sugar, and brown rice syrup sitting near the top of the ingredient list. It is genuinely useful as a filling, vegan, gluten free post workout option that tastes like chocolate, but a health minded shopper watching saturated fat or added sugar will find leaner bars. Think of it as a treat that happens to carry real protein, not a lean protein source.
