The honest take

The KIND Honey Almond Butter bar leads with real almond butter and 100 percent whole grains, and at 170 calories with 3 grams of fiber it makes a reasonable grab and go snack. The catch is that all 8 grams of its sugar are added, coming from cane sugar, tapioca syrup, honey and molasses, and the bar also carries canola, palm and palm kernel oils plus processed binders like vegetable glycerin and soy lecithin. Despite the wholesome framing it gives you only 4 grams of protein, so it lands closer to a lightly sweetened treat than a real protein bar.
