The catch

The no sugar sweetness comes from 5 grams of sugar alcohols per 10 piece serving, which can cause bloating or GI upset for sensitive people. (source)

The honest take

These are soft caramels in a 36 percent cacao coating that Lily sweetens with erythritol, isomalt, and stevia instead of sugar, so a 10 piece serving lands at 120 calories with 0 grams added sugar and only 3 grams total sugars. The tradeoff is that the sweetness comes from 5 grams of sugar alcohols, and the same small serving carries 5 grams saturated fat, which is 25 percent of a day, partly from the palm kernel oil in the caramel. If you want a chocolate fix without a sugar spike this delivers, but it is still an ultra processed candy, not a health food. People who tolerate sugar alcohols poorly will feel it quickly.
