The catch

At about 9 dollars for an 8 ounce bag it runs two to three times the price of standard granola, and at 260 calories per two thirds cup it is still easy to overpour. (source)

The honest take

Magic Spoon's Dark Chocolate Almond granola gives you 13g of protein and just 2g of sugar per two thirds cup, which is genuinely rare for a granola and comes from allulose, monk fruit, and milk protein isolate instead of added sugar. The tradeoff is that it is calorie dense at 260 calories a serving and leans on isolated ingredients like tapioca fiber and protein isolate, so it reads more like an engineered snack than whole food granola. Almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, and coconut oil keep the fat quality reasonable, and there are no sugar alcohols to upset your stomach. If you want protein and low sugar it works well, just mind the portion since granola pours fast.
