The catch

It is an ultra processed protein cereal, and at roughly 2 dollars a bowl it costs far more than oats while packing 210mg of sodium into a small 37g serving. (source)

The honest take

This is a nostalgia flavored cereal rebuilt around milk protein instead of grain, so one 37g cup lands at 140 calories with 13g of protein and 0g of sugar, which is a real departure from the boxed honey nut cereal it imitates. The sweetness comes from allulose and monk fruit rather than sugar, and the crunch comes from casein, whey, tapioca starch and inulin, so it is genuinely low in sugar but also very much an engineered, ultra processed food rather than a whole grain. If you want the protein and the low sugar and do not mind that trade, it delivers. If you were hoping for something simple and minimally processed, this is not that.
