The honest take

These are real roasted almonds with a thin sweet coating, so you still get the good stuff almonds are known for, 5g of protein, 2g of fiber, mostly unsaturated fat, and 40 percent of your daily vitamin E in a 1 ounce handful. The catch is that they are sweetened, with sugar, honey, and maltodextrin adding up to 4g of added sugar per serving, plus a little sunflower or canola oil in the coating. Sodium is modest at 60mg, so salt is not the concern here, sugar is. If you want the almond nutrition without the candy layer, plain dry roasted almonds do the same job with zero added sugar.
