This is a whole food bar built on just six ingredients, mainly cashews, dates, and semisweet chocolate chips, with no seed oils, no sugar alcohols, and no synthetic sweeteners. The tradeoff shows up on the label: one 45g bar carries 210 calories and 15g of total sugar, most of it coming from the dates rather than added sugar, of which there are only 3g. If you want a clean, plant based, minimally processed snack you can pronounce every ingredient of, it delivers, but with just 3g protein and 2g fiber it will not hold you the way a protein bar would.
