The base is genuinely 100 percent whole grain rolled oats with chia seeds, which is a real point in its favor, and the sugar is lower than a lot of flavored instant oats because it leans on monk fruit extract to cut back on cane sugar. The catch for a clean label shopper is that the protein number comes from stacking four separate protein sources, pea protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, and milk protein concentrate and isolate, so it reads more like a fortified protein product than a bowl of plain oats. If you want the protein and do not mind the processing it is a solid grab, but a purist could get closer to whole food by adding their own protein to basic oats.
