The catch

The label serving is a small quarter cup (35g) at 140 calories, so a realistic bowl of double that lands near 280 calories before milk or toppings. (source)

The honest take

This is about as clean as boxed cereal gets. A quarter cup (35g) runs 140 calories with 4g fiber, 4g protein, zero added sugar and zero sodium, and the ingredient list is just whole grains, dates, raisins, seeds and nuts with no syrups, gums or fortification. The 5g of sugar comes entirely from the dried fruit, so a health minded shopper who wants real food over a marketing label will find little to complain about here. The honest reality is that it is dense and the label serving is small, so a filling bowl lands closer to 280 calories.
