The catch

Each pouch carries 340 milligrams of sodium, about 15 percent of a daily limit, which is the price of the pre seasoned convenience. (source)

The honest take

This is a single serve flavored tuna pouch that leans on lemon and cracked black pepper, and the appeal is the protein to calorie ratio: one 2.6 ounce pouch gives you 16 grams of protein for just 80 calories and 1 gram of fat. It needs no draining, no mayo, and no fridge, which makes it a genuinely easy desk or gym bag protein source. The honest limitation is that this is a seasoned, shelf stable product, so the 340 milligrams of sodium per pouch is doing some of the flavor work and it is not a whole food. If you want plain protein you can control yourself, a can of tuna in water is cleaner, but for grab and go convenience this holds up.
